Web Marketing

The success of a Web site depends on more than attractive Web design and useful content. If Internet users can’t easily find the site when they search for the kinds of products or services the site offers, it won’t get much visitor traffic. A site with few visitors isn’t going to be very successful!

The methods for increasing visitor traffic to Web sites are known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

SEO refers to creating Web-site content that is attractive to Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines. There are a variety of components that comprise “search-engine friendly” Web content. Most critical of these is the copy appearing on each page. Find 8 works with each client to determine which keywords and phrases are commonly used to describe the goods and services provided by the client’s organization. We take care of the copywriting – unless client’s prefer to do their own.

SEM refers to promoting Web sites on the Internet. Reaching a maximum of potential customers and clients on the Internet requires a mix of SEM tactics. Among the tactics typically employed:

  • Search engine advertising
  • Online advertising
  • Social networking
  • E-mail marketing and newsletters
  • Blogging
  • E-mail and newsletter marketing

Find 8 will evaluate these and other methods and use the appropriate combination to achieve the most targeted site-exposure possible.  We then apply Web measurement methods in order to determine if the tactics employed are leading to increasing visitor traffic.
