YOUR FIRST STEP INTO SEARCH
Google My Business SEO Optimization Service
Even if you're not ready for a full-fledged search engine optimization package, all businesses should claim and verify their Google My Business account. Local shoppers increasingly search online for electricians, lawyers, plumbers, dentists, restaurants, car dealers, and more. 80% of consumers use search engines to find local information, like a business phone number, online reviews, or driving directions. If these consumers are looking for your company by name, don't disappoint. A verified and optimized Google My Business account will give them the information they need. And for users on a smartphone, you're just a click to call away.

Google My Business Details
Verify and claim a Google My Business account for your company. Includes:
- Claimed and verified account
- Optimized 100% complete profile
- Write informative content
- Delete duplicate accounts (up to two hours of agency time)
- Google My Business dashboard report
Our first step involves researching if your business already has a Google My Business account. In most instances, Google is already aware of your business from the Secretary of State, Internet yellow pages, data aggregation brokers, or public utilities. In fact, Google may have already created a business listing on your behalf.
Creating a duplicate account can actually harm your business. Our team of SEO experts use several tools to thoroughly search for these accounts. It's surprising how many we find. Even a slight variation of your name, address or phone number can generate a duplicate.
Once we have found your account, we proceed to "claim" it. This step in the process allows to communicate to Google that we would like to take ownership of the profile. Next, Google requires us to verify ownership of the account either through a phone call to your business or a post card delivered to your official business address.
This step may take two to three weeks to complete. We may have to repeat this process since postcards are often not delivered. In some instances, we may be able to perform a quick phone verification instead.
It's imperative that your profile is accurate, consistent and informative. Most pre-existing Google My Business accounts contain incomplete or inaccurate information. Our SEO experts will:
- Adjust name, address and phone
- Upload company logo
- Upload photos for your exterior building, interior building, products and services, staff members, and more
- Write business description
- Configure settings such as amenities, hours of operation, special holiday hours, methods of payment, etc
Duplicate accounts can be the kiss of death with Google. Any time your business has more than one listing on a business directory platform (like Google My Business) representing a single entity (a business), that’s considered a duplicate. For example, Amco Plumbing in Cleveland should have only one Google My Business listing, one Facebook account, one Yelp listing, one Superpages listing, etc. Your business should not be listed twice on any of these platforms, ever. Doing so causes confusion and minimizes trust with the major search engines, especially Google
As part of the Google My Business package, our Search team will hunt down, claim and delete/merge the duplicate listings.
Our SEO team will provide you with access to the Google My Business dashboard report. Learn how customers are interacting with your business listing. Check out customer activity and actions. See clicks, calls listing views, and more.
